Other Important Information

Yosemite (11/11 – 9am to 11/13 ~ 7:30pm):
  • Current forecast: 48 day/21 night (keep checking for updates)
  • Students & chaperones need to have a pair of appropriate footwear for the trip.  Tennis shoes with good tread (not worn down or flat), or lightweight hiking shoes/boots are a must!  If your student does not already have a pair, then please go out and get them a pair so they can start breaking them in. Big 5 is a good resource for inexpensive shoes.  A whole group will be held back from the trail if one student does not have safe shoes. We will have a “shoe check” & practice hike (to Contra Loma Reservoir) on Friday, November 8th. Students need to bring the shoes (or wear them) to school on that day
  • Students not attending Yosemite will have normal school days on Tuesday (11/12) & Wednesday (11/13). Monday is a holiday

Victorian Party (mid December): it is not too early to start thinking about/putting together your student’s Victorian era costume for this day.
