PEP Meetings
Parent Education Program Meetings (PEP Meetings) are an important part of the link between the student, family, and school at ACA II. PEP Meetings are how parents learn more about the school’s philosophies, teaching styles, and mission. PEP Meetings are also the forum for discussion the school culture with other parents and teachers, as well as asking questions about your child’s education.
A portion of the information discussed at PEP Meetings is available below:

Positive Discipline PEP Meeting (October 20, 2011 @ 6:00)
Positive Discipline is the framework for behavior expectations and governance structures at ACA II. Many student expectations in class meetings are examples of how staff discussions are modeled in staff meetings. Students practicing democratic principles reflected through positive discipline expectations is an example that empowers ACA II students and supports their focus to become independent learners who demonstrate good citizenship even when no one is looking.
WASC PEP Meeting (September 21, 2011)
This PEP Meeting discussed the process of WASC Accreditation which ACA II is currently going through. Accreditation involves students, parents, and community members, as well as ACA II staff members. Parents and families play an extremely important role in our quest for the required accreditation for California Charter Schools.
