We appreciate your help in providing a healthy snack for one week.
We ask that you send in a Healthy Snack for the class. Please have it prepped and ready to serve on your assigned days. You may send in snack daily or all at once for the week.
Please send in enough snacks for 34 students.
Here are a few suggestions of healthy snacks the students love!
Students really seem to enjoy a complete snack, such as cheese & crackers or Carrots & pretzels!
Fresh fruit- bananas, oranges, apples, strawberries, kiwis
Vegetables- celery, carrots, cucumber, olives
Cheese- string, cubes, or slices
Whole grain crackers, pretzels, or mini bagels
Goldfish or Cheez-its or Peanut Butter filled pretzels
Hard boiled eggs
Things that seem healthy, but to watch out for:
Chocolate covered items yogurt cover pretzels
Fruit roll ups cookies or sweetened crackers
**A little hint look for snacks that have less than 10 grams of sugar per serving**
If you would like help choosing a healthy snack, you can send in $10 cash prior to your snack day and the teachers will purchase a snack for you!
