BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEER UPDATE
We are almost full with volunteers. We still have some spots that need filling on Wednesday, April 24. If you are going to listen to your student read their book at 6:30, are you then available to volunteer for a shift after, say around 7:00 or 7:30?
If you are, please let us know. You can email the Family Network, or you can email us and we will pass along the info.
BIG BREAK MARINA TRIP
Our next Being There Experience will be to the Big Break Marina in Oakley, next Thursday, April 27.
Big Break is a part of the East Bay Regional Park District. We will be getting a FREE program run by the Naturalists at the park.
Even though the trip is FREE to all students and adults, we still need students to fill out and return a permission slip, as well as parent volunteers to drive.
Permission slips for the trip are due back by Monday for students who want to order a lunch. Students who turn their permission slips in later than Monday will not be able to order a bag lunch from AUSD.
