ACA II Intermediate News
Stories and Pictures should be ready to bind.
Students have 3 options when it comes to binding.
First option is to take it to Staples or Kinkos and have it bound there.
Second option-have it ready for Mrs. Hummel to bind in group this week. Students will have until Monday to bring it to Mrs. Hummel.
Third option is to just have it typed, stapled and ready to read for on April 26th for Wednesday’s Young Authors Night on April
Here is a description of what your student needs to bring in if they want Mrs. Hummel to bind their book
2 pieces of cardboard that are cut to the size of their paper -We will not cut cardboard. It has to be pre-cut
½ yard of cotton fabric of your choosing( a lot of the time students pick patterns that match their theme but its not required)
- Please no fuzzy fabric, felt, or fabric with holes, it will not stick to the glue
BOOK FAIR VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
It’s that time of year again!!! Parent volunteers are needed and in high demand. The book fair is something that the students look forward to each year, but can not happen unless we have lots of parent help. Please take time to look at the form that came home with your student. Please return the form to school if you are able to help, even a little bit of help is beneficial.
