Walk Through the American Revolution
Thank you so much to all the parents who came today to watch our Walk Through the American Revolution. The students had an amazing time and learned so much! A special thank you to both Gamble families for helping us serve lunch!!
Students will be given time to pass out Valentines, if they choose, during SSR tomorrow. They should bring a bag for collecting valentines and whatever they plan to pass out in the morning when they arrive at school. To make the process go smoothly, please have students sign that the Valentine is from them, but do not address to individual students. If they choose to give out valentines they must either give to all of their skills groups or all of intermediate. Intermediate has a total of 63 students. Dubitsky- 20 students, Gonzalez- 23 students, Albertoni-20 students
Trimester 2 Report Card Conferences
Report Card conferences for the second trimester will be March 6th-10th. As with previous years, conferences will not be requested for all students. We will be sending out invitations to conferences at the end of the week. If your child’s teacher is not requesting a conference, you may either request a conference or elect to receive your child’s report card without a conference. Look for more information at the end of the week.
We need Silent Auction Volunteers!
Have you heard about our amazing spring event, the Silent Auction? This will be our 7th year of bringing you a night of fun and merriment which includes a silent auction, raffle prizes, food, and of course, fundraising! The Silent Auction is a special event loved by many ACA II families and staff members that has helped to bring in over $5,000 each year for our program. We really need your help putting it on this year and we will have to cancel this event if we are unable to get more volunteers! We are looking for a team of volunteers to help with planning the Silent Auction, which includes gathering donations and helping volunteer the day of the event. No prior experience is necessary to volunteer. If you are interested in helping out please email Miss Dubitsky right away at email@example.com. Without you we cannot put on this event!!!
ACA II Walk-a-Thon
Mark your Calendars…… WALK-A-THON DAY: Friday, March 31st!!
The Walk-a-thon Team is working hard to make this year’s event very special for your student!
It’s not too early to talk to family and friends about becoming a sponsor! We will have official forms and packets coming out soon, and we are using 99Pledges.com for our online donation collection again this year. Look for more details to come!
We are currently looking for small items for the goodie bags (for 200 students), and/or more significant raffle items. Small raffle items can be combined with other donations to create a significant raffle prize. No item too small! For example: a pair of movie tickets, a Starbuck’s gift card and a new water bottle combined make a nice raffle prize! These donations can be dropped off in the office anytime! Please clearly mark all items.
Our next team meeting is Wednesday, March 1st at 3:15pm. Find out how you can be a part of this awesome event!

Gardening Class donations needed
If you have an old unwanted pair of child size rain boots would you please send them with your student to ACA II so that the garden club can use them for a project? We are going to hang them in the garden with your child’s name on it or you can donate some for other students. Thank you very much.
